International units systems missing

Good app, but could be better with international units systems (kilometers instead of miles, and Celsius degrees)

Poor user interface

Difficult to read when running and using on the arm. heart beat is almost impossible to rad when running. Difficult to change display. data display not well organized. does not work with M7 and do not measure distance correctly

Potential

I would probably use this if I could change the units. Currently only miles/Fahrenheit. Attractive app otherwise, but Ill stick to my others that have some customization options.

Beautiful UI app

I was really impressed with the accuracy and unique UI of the app. Definitely beats Nike running and other run tracking apps. Would be nice if I could import routes as GPX files.

Cool and refreshing!

Really impressed with a different kind of app design. Didnt find any other app that keep track of weather and runs at the sane time. Looking forward to have camera and photos feature within the app.

Really useful

Really useful. Like the dragging feature for the buttons. Great to check weather while tracking my activities. Seems developer has put real thoughts in the design.

Calories seem off?

Works great! The calories burned for hiking seem 100+ calories off compared to other apps though. What are you using to calculate this?

The best

Amazing

Awesome

This app asked if I was riding a bike, walking, running, or hiking. It kept trace of where I went, how long I was riding, and told me every mile into my headphones how many miles I rode. You can document any thing. This is really worth it

Beautiful Easy-to-Read Interface

Ive tried 3 or 4 exercise tracking apps on my iPhone, but this is the first one that I can actually read while Im exercising rather than having to wait until I can stop and put on my reading glasses. Its got BY FAR the cleanest, most attractive interface of any exercise tracking app Ive used. Its beautiful and the way an app *should* be designed for an iPhone. WeatherRun also provides options for different exercises, the ability to snap pictures from within the app so they show up on the trail map, and unobtrusive voice notifications to mark each mile. More uniquely, its the first exercise tracking app I know of that integrates local weather information so I can check the weather before I set out without having to go to another app. (Thus the name WeatherRun.) Not only that, it stores the weather info along with other session data so I get to blame the heat and humidity for my slow days (. . . or not). Soon I plan to try the app with a TI SensorTag, which will provide even greater accuracy. Sounds like the developers plan to add additional cool features with the help of SensorTag, like using changes in elevation to produce more accurate calorie data, which will be really nice for those of us who feel penalized by exercise apps that reduce our calorie counts when we run up hill, just because of the reduced speed.

Messed Up...

Installed on iPhone 5 and my Pebble watch. Ran app and it showed on my Pebble. Shut down app and it kept eating my iPhone battery like crazy. Even rebooted iphone and it still kept eating battery power. Down 40+% in 2 hours. Only fix was to uninstall this app. Not ready for prime time yet.

Love this

Im just getting into running and so glad I found this app! I havent hit any bugs or downsides.

Wildly Inaccurate

Left it sitting on my desk, app open, and it slowly, throughout the day, said I walked 2 miles on my iPhone 5s. Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Best tracker Ive found yet! Thanks!!!

I wish it worked as advertised

I really hoped this would work, but the only reason I bought this app was to be able to show the weather on my Pebble Watch, and it doesnt work. In fact, no information actually transfers to my watch even though it is installed and connected. Too bad. Could have been very cool.

Very nice; but Pebble use broken

Beautiful app, the options shown are nice. Being able to drag one of the right-side info circles to the left to make it the primary, large, field is great. For hiking or climbing, e.g. one might pull Altitude over. For cycling, try Speed or Distance. (or time, temperature, etc.) I can see using this just as it is on the iPhone screen. HOWEVER, Id wanted to try this app to use with the Pebble watch. Successfully put the WeatherRun components on the watch, can see the 2-page data fields. But no data accumulates. No time, no distance, etc: all stay at zero. Even though data running on phone. Supposed to be able to stop-start the app using the 2 right buttons on the watch, this doesnt do anything. Hopefully this will be fixed, as the data fields look great on the watch...

Gimmicky and unpolished

Ive used just about every walking or running app in the app store and this is not one of my favorites. The app sacrifices functionality for style. For example it boasts that you couldnt take one of the circles off to the side and drag it to the center and have that feature that is the focus of your data. Great idea but poor execution. If you do this the app wont remember your preferences. The app doesnt read out your statistics at intervals that you set like other apps do so that you dont have to constantly be opening your phone just to check your run data. It doesnt automatically submit your walk or run to their website for storage or to Facebook as other exercise apps do. And when it does submit something to Facebook youre not allowed to leave comments there. It doesnt allow you to do text notes about your walk or run. Dont waste your time theres nothing to see here move along.

Not compatible with Polar

I suppose I didnt do enough research. I was looking for a nice app that would give me my heart rate on my Pebble watch and didnt realize this one only works with Zephyr heart rate monitors. I hope they add support for other monitors in the future because the app does look pretty nice, otherwise.

It Shouldn’t Be This Hard

I tried it a month ago, It showed up on my Pebble watch, but recorded nothing. I deleted it. I tried it again today. When I try to install, I get a message that “the watch app could not be installed. Please verify that your Pebble and phone all are to date.” I have the latest Pebble software on my iPhone and my apps update automatically. Guess I’ll delete it yet again.

WeatherRun, Pebble, and Polar H7 HRM

This app works great with my Pebble smartwatch and Polar H7 heart rate monitor ($2 in app purchase). While hiking, walking, or other activity my Pebble displays my current heart rate, calories burned, distance, and a lot of weather and altitude data. The data recorded for each activity session can be viewed in detail, including an overlay of the activity route on a map. The activity sessions can be easily backed up to Dropbox with the press of one button on the IOS app (after creating a Dropbox account). The technical support from the developer has been outstanding.
